Beginner’s Running Package:

This 4-week program is the perfect foundation for your running experience and includes the following:

  • Biomechanical Evaluation (a $90 value): A physical therapist will assess your running biomechanics, strength, flexibility, and body alignment.  After identifying any abnormalities, we’ll set you on the right path to correct the issues so you can enhance your running experience (click here for more info)
  • Heart Rate Target Zone Prescription (a $130 value): A heart rate monitor is a runner’s best friend.  It’s more than just how many times your heart is pumping per minute.  Monitoring your heart rate gives you the ability to know what kind of fuel you are using:  mostly fat, mostly sugar, or a mixture of both.  Your goal is to burn more fat than sugar as sugar burning leads to acid production and tissue breakdown.  We’ll determine your 3 target heart zones based on a number of factors.  This includes a private running coaching session and heart rate monitor.  Click here for more info.
  • 8 Group Running Sessions (a $400 value): Two sessions per week with a physical therapist and marathon runner.  With these running sessions, you’ll learn techniques to make running more enjoyable and effortless.  You’ll learn how to reach different “states” during your running experience which will make it feel as if you can run forever.  We’ll also discuss different aspects of health before, during, and after running sessions.
