Stride to Health in Simsbury, Connecticut is offering “Agility, Speed, and Power Training” to help adults who want to get back some of the athleticism that may have been lost over the years. The program caters to active adults aged from 20 to 50 who may be triathletes, competitive runners, and weekend warriors.
Former athletes who are looking to get back in shape in a fun and healthy environment are also encouraged to register. The program focuses on increasing speed and athleticism in adults.
Each session lasts 4 weeks and will take place on a grassy field in Simsbury, CT. The group setting allows for a fun and motivating environment. Participants have the option of performing workouts 2 or 3 days per week.
The program is open to men and women.
In addition to the workout sessions, participants will also be monitored by physical therapist, Dean Teitelbaum. The Platinum and Gold levels include physical therapy sessions to ensure optimal health of the participants.
“There’s a misconception that we have to become less of an athlete as we age,” says Teitelbaum. “While we may not be exactly at the same level we were in high school or college, there’s no reason why somebody in their 30’s, 40’s, or even 50’s can’t improve their natural athleticism when given the right exercises and drills to do. This program is fun and will have you feeling a sense of pride that you may not have felt in a while.”
